Nehe'Miah Moye
Hi! My name is Nehe’Miah, and I’m a junior majoring in Human Development and Family Sciences! I started in the AAC as a Student Administration Assistant, but was encouraged to become a UConn Connects mentor during my interview! I’m very happy I took the opportunity, because being a mentor helped me to find my path. I’ve always had a desire to help others, and becoming a mentor helped me put that into practice, which is why I decided to become a coach! I learned that coaching is something I will enjoy doing long-term! I found I easily connect with others, and effortlessly create a supportive and encouraging environment– which is a great need expressed by the student population. I’m excited for this new opportunity of growth and new beginnings not only for myself, but also for my fellow students. I’m grateful to be a part of the AAC family, and excited for what’s in store as an academic coach!
