Jes Pugliese

Hey yall! My name is Jes (she/her) and I am a junior in the social work program. This is my first semester as an AAC Coach, and I am so excited to continue my journey with the AAC. During the Spring 2022 semester, I was a UCONN Connects mentor at the Storrs campus, but I am eager to start working with the AAC staff and students at the Hartford campus!

I want to use my social work degree to work in school systems, and mentoring has really helped to solidify that goal for me. As a coach, I hope to make an impact on students’ lives inside and outside of academics. Everyone needs extra support sometimes, and that’s what I and the rest of the AAC staff are here for!
